Easter Basket Time!
Sunday morning the children were excited to awake to a letter from the Easter Bunny. Once Abrahm and I got up, they began their search. That bunny sure had hard clues this time! They searched all over the house and finally found them in the cave. Whew! That silly Easter Bunny!

Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt
I saw this idea on Pinterest. I thought it looked like fun. So after dying eggs and watching a movie, we hid eggs downstairs for the kids to find. They loved searching for the glow in the dark eggs. They all slept with their glow sticks. I think this is one we will have to do next year!

Egg Dying Time
On Saturday afternoon, we dyed our eggs. The kids had a great time. The boys were into dying their eggs more than one color. Alden even made one look like the French flag.

Easter Package from Grandma Jean and Papaw
Since Alden was sick today, I let the kids open their Easter Box from Grandma Jean and Papaw. I knew there were movies in the box, and Alden needed to watch TV and rest today. They were quite excited to see all the goodies they sent. Thanks Grandma Jean and Papaw!!

Adalee's Concert and Ms Elina's Farewell
On Friday after school, Adalee's class performed a concert for the parents. They sang songs and did chants they had been practicing for the last trimester. Adalee did really well. She just sang along like everyone else. Her French is really progressing.
The day was bittersweet, because after the concert we had a farewell for her teacher, Ms Elina. She is getting ready to have a baby and will begin her maternity leave next week. Adalee will be heartbroken to see her go. She has been such a motivation to Adalee. She is also so caring and sweet and loving. It was hard to say goodbye! We wish her luck with her new baby boy!

Empty our Wine Rack Get Together!
On Friday afternoon, we invited several friends over to help us "empty" our wine rack. Our movers come in less than 3 weeks. They will not ship any liquids. So we didn't want our beer and wine to go to waste. So we had some friends over for drinks and snacks. It was very casual, but really fun! Thanks everyone for coming over and helping us out!

Pretzels with Hershey Kisses and M&Ms. I have seen this idea from many places around the internet. I decided to give it a try. I thought it would be quick and easy. Well apparently our kisses had been exposed to extreme temperatures and wouldn't melt correctly. I ended up melting the chocolate in a big bowl and doing them all by hand! Needless to say, it wasn't really quick! They tasted yummy, so I guess that is what matters.

Just Hanging Around
Not much exciting has been happening around here. We've just been busy with school and getting ready to move! In less than 3 weeks our packers will be here! I am still not sure how this has happened so quickly. Here are a few pictures of us just hanging out.

A couple of weeks ago we made a solution to make crystals. The kids have really enjoyed watching them grow. They actually turned out really well. I will have to post a picture of the final product.
One day last week, Adalee had her friend come home with her from school for lunch. She and Sixtine helped me decorate for Easter.
