A Trip to Science City

Adam went to a birthday party this weekend at Union Station in Kansas City. Abrham took Adam while Alden and I stayed here and napped. The kids got to go to the Science Museum for a little while before the party started. Adam had a fun time. They had lots of hands on activities for Adam. He said his favorite was digging for dinosaur bones.

Time for Bowling

This past weekend, we had a party for Abrahm's small group. It was at the bowling alley on post. The kids got to bowl all they wanted and eat pizza and cake. Adam and Alden had a great time. We'll definately have to go back again.

Alden watching his ball roll down the lane. This bowling alley had a great set up for kids that were really small. They put up bumpers and then had a special ramp they could roll their ball down, so they didn't have to lift it. Posted by Picasa

A Big Boy Bed for our Big Boy

On Monday we moved Alden into Adam's room. He started sleeping on the bottom bunk of Adam's bed. Both boys were so excited. Adam asks everyday if Alden wants to sleep in his room. Both boys are adjusting extremely well. So far Alden stays in his bed and doesn't offer to get up. We'll see how they do over the new few weeks.

Snow Days

On Saturday night and Sunday morning we had our first real snow. We had between 5 and 6 inches. The kids were so excited. Adam couldn't wait to get outside and play in it. So we bundled them up and out they went. The weather was actually quite warm, so the kids could stay out for quite a while. They had fun shoveling, digging, making snow angels, making snowballs and even making a snowman!!!! Enjoy the pictures from our winter wonderland!

Happy Birthday Alden!

On Monday we celebrated Alden's birthday. We were supposed to have a little party with a couple of other children, but Adam came down with a fever, so we had to cancel our plans. Instead we just celebrated with the four of us and Grammy Gay. The kids had a really fun time. Alden loved his Blue's Clues party. He even enjoyed opening the presents. Adam loved playing with all of brother's new toys. All in all a fun day!
