More Fun in the Snow

Last night and this morning we had quite a bit of snow (for Lille) fall in a pretty short amount of time. At times it was falling pretty hard and pretty quickly. We only actually got about 2 inches or so accumulation, but it was just enough for the kids to have some fun. They played on our balcony for about an hour, throwing snowballs and making snowmen. I think Alden even had a snow candy shop at one point. To warm them up after they were done playing, I made them hot chocolate and a special snowman treat. Tonight the poor snowman is melted and all the snow is just about gone!

Movie Night

Last week for movie night I decided to get little pizza crusts and let the kids make their own mini pizzas. They loved putting their favorite toppings on and creating their own masterpieces!

A Visit from Friends

A couple of weeks ago, we had some visitors from Tennessee come see us. Abrahm and Mark went to West Point together and then roomed together during flight school. Last year he married a great girl, Kelly! They were stationed with us in Tennessee and helped me out several times while Abrahm was deployed to Afghanistan. They came to Europe to go to a Vienese (sp?) Ball in Vienna, Austria. While here they stopped by our house for a few days. We had a great visit! The kids loved visiting with them and we did too!
