Day 348 - Christmas Update!

Well after four hours, I finally have the last picture posted from our vacation! It was an amazing time. We were able to rest and have lots of fun. It would have been better if Daddy were there, but we celebrated enough for him! Overall we had an uneventful trip and spent many hours making many fun memories. Things worked out just about perfectly. No major meltdowns or crises. We really couldn't have asked for anything more. I have posted many pictures below. I know it's a lot, but during the course of our trip I took over 700 photos! Be thankful you don't have to view them all!

Wednesday, December 17

On Wednesday night we had to make cookies to leave for Santa. The kids especially enjoyed making the Mickey cookies so that Santa would know where we were.

Thursday, December 18

On Thursday, the kids had their Christmas Program at school. Adam and Alden sang and Adam played the bells. It was a nice program. After the program they got to see Santa Clause. Then we went home, finished packing and headed to Huntsville to see my parents.

After school we headed to my parents' house to spend the night. They cooked us a yummy dinner and we got to visit with our family. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Friday, December 19

On Friday we left my parents house and headed to Enterprise. We met up with some friends while we were there. On the way we stopped in Clanton and had some ice cream at Durbin Farms. It's a great little fruit stand and ice cream shop.

In Enterprise we stopped and had dinner with Hank and Kelly and their children. We were friends in Alaska. We had a great dinner and the kids had a great time playing and running after spending the day in the car. Thanks Kelly and Hank for having us over! We had a great time.

Saturday, December 20

On the trip between Enterprise and Orlando we made a stop at a rest area. It was really nice and had lots of room for the kids to run and play. It was nice to get out and stretch our legs for a bit.
