Day 110
Today was a good day. Not a whole lot going on. The boys had swim class. They are both doing very well. I've posted a few videos from class today. After swimming we came home, worked on the house and then headed to church for a meeting this evening.
Alden did a pretty good job with the whole pottytraining thing today. He stayed dry all day. He did poop in his pants this afternoon though. Hopefully it will take a few days to get this whole pooping thing!
Otherwise, things are going well. We have our busy Wednesday tomorrow!

Day 109
Sorry, no pictures today. I spent all day working on a couple of surprise projects (which I can't tell you about yet). I took Adam to school and then came home and got right to work. I am very excited about these projects and can't wait to share them...eventually.
Overall we had a pretty good day. A couple of good things to share. First of all, Alden stayed dry all day long today. He had no accidents at all! Very exciting. I am not naive enought to think that tomorrow will be perfect, but I am so excited he made it through the whole day. I have started giving him legos for pottying. He and Adam are really into those "real" legos. They found an incomplete set with a handful of pieces in it in a closet somewhere and they are dying for more. So I agreed to give Alden 3 of those tiny legos each time he pees and he gets 5 when he poops. If he can go the whole day with no accidents then he can pick out 10 before bed. Needless to say he was so excited when he picked out his 10 tonight!
Another major milestone for us today. Adam had a splinter in his hand. Now those of you that have been around Adam when he's had one before know it's a horrific sight. He absolutely melts down and has a screaming fit. So unlike Adam. He just loses control when you try to remove it. Well tonight he put his hand out and let me remove it with the sharp metal clippers and tweezers. He never winced or got upset. He was so proud of himself and I was too! I think he got some confidence when Alden had his taken out a few weeks ago.
So big boys at my house now! How exciting.
***To those of you that are local with little people, I am planning on taking the kids to pick strawberries on Friday morning (I think the weather is supposed to cooperate). If any of you are interested in coming along let me know. We'd love to have friends come along with us.***

Day 108
Today was a very busy day. We first went to church. It was a very interesting service. Usually Adalee stays in the nursery, but today they had way too many babies and they were all crying. So I decided to bring Adalee in the sanctuary with me. So for the first half of the service I had all 3 with me. Sitting quietly for that long is not our strong suit. All 3 did pretty well for what they were being asked to do. The boys colored and Adalee ate through most of the service.
After church we went to the Blackhorse to eat. After our last experience at the Blackhorse (remember that whole throwing up thing?), Adam was a little reluctant to go back. But we had a good lunch and everyone ate and no one threw up! So overall a successful lunch.
After lunch we went to the museum. They had a special train exhibit. The admission was free so that was a bonus. They had several tracks set up all over and they all were doing different things. The kids were in awe. We then went to the play rooms for the kids to play. While we were there a friend of Adam's from church showed up, so they had fun playing together.
We then came home and played outside. We did find out some sad news. I looked in our grill and all 5 eggs were gone! There wasn't a trace of them anywhere close. So after researching I decided either another bird or a snake got them. The nest wasn't messed up at all, but the eggs were gone. Since there were no traces of anything, I was leaning toward a snake (which freaked me out). Then as I was looking at the garden across the yard, I found a little blue egg with cracks in it. It looks like a bird came and took them out of the nest and carried them away. We were all a little sad since we were anxiously awaiting for them to hatch. Oh well, I guess the good news is I can grill again. I am heading to the grocery store tomorrow. I'll have to pick up some steaks! First though, I have to clean out the grill. I am definitely not looking foward to that!

Days 106 and 107
The past couple of days have been busy. Yesterday we had a farewell for one of the ladies who works on post. We met at the Olive Garden with about 25 other ladies (and a couple of soldiers). I had to take the kids with me since I didn't have a sitter. The lunch lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes. Can I just say how proud of the kids I was. They were so well behaved. I couldn't believe they lasted that whole time without whining or trying to run around. They sat, colored, ate lunch and talked with the ladies around them. Even Adalee was on her best behavior. So as a surprise for doing so well, we headed to the video store to pick up a movie. I knew we were supposed to be getting bad weather, so I thought they would like this. When we got home the boys watched the movie, Adalee napped and I worked on things to sell in our neighborhood garage sale.
Yesterday evening in anticipation of the severe weather, we put up the tent in the living room and the boys slept there. I tried to put Adalee in the pack n play downstairs, but she just wouldn't quit crying. So I ended up putting her in her crib and she fell fast asleep. Around midnight the sirens went off and a Tornado Warning was issued. I gathered all the sleeping babies and put them under our stairs. We stayed down there for about 45 mintues or so. Once the storm passed I put everyone back in their beds and I laid on the couch. About 20 minutes later another string of storms passed, so I put the kids under the stairs and just let them sleep there the rest of the night. Adalee and I joined them again and then I think I put her back in bed around 2:30 or so. Then I finally headed to bed. We had another storm pass through around 3:30 as well. It was a crazy night. We had some damage in the county. I read in the paper tonight that the weather folks feel we actually had a tornado touch down in Montgomery County. A little to close for me. Thank goodness all was okay at our house.
We got up early today and set out stuff for our yard sale. Our neighborhood was having a group sale. I only sold baby things and some toys. I made around $100.00 so that wasn't too bad. I really didn't put a whole lot of effort in it.
I had to put the things away early because Adam had a soccer game this afternoon. He did very well. He scored twice. He was so excited. We had our first real issue with aggressive parents and kids. One of the kids on the opposing team kept pushing one of our kids down intentionally. After a couple of times the coach said something to the ref and asked for the child to apologize to the kid he pushed down. The mother of the kid got angry and they exchanged some words. It wasn't very sportsmanlike. After witnessing the parent's reaction, it explained why her child was the was he was.
This afternoon we played games and played outside. Tomorrow we have church and maybe a trip to the train station. They are supposed to have some trains on display for the kids to see. We'll have to see how tomorrow goes. As for now the kids all are sound asleep! They passed out around 7:15 tonight.

Adam in action. He's getting more serious about the game now. Most of the time he can hang with the kids around him. He still needs lots and lots of practice, but for his first year playing he hasn't done too bad.

Day 105
Today was supposed to be pretty quiet. It wasn't too bad, except for spending about an hour or so on the phone trying to get Adalee a referrel. Adalee's reflux is terrible now. It's getting much worse instead of better. I spoke with her pulmonologist and he wants her to see a Gastrointerologist. His office tried to make the appointment, but of course Tricare is causing problems. Long story short, I have to get a referrel from her primary care doctor here. So we now have a call into his nurse and are hoping to hear something tomorrow.
The rest of the day we spent cleaning and organizing. We ordered Adalee's 1 year photos and wen to Walmart. We're trying a new potty training thing with Alden, so we'll see how it goes. I'll write more tomorrow. I am pretty pooped now!

I love watching the hummingbirds coming in to eat. These pictures were taken while I was inside the house looking of out the window. That's why they aren't the best photos.

Day 104
A pretty good day today! Everyone rested well and was feeling good this morning so we had our usual Wild Wednesday. We took Adam to school, went to Mom's group at church, ate at Chick Fil A with friends, picked up Adam from school, came home and napped for an hour, took Adam to soccer practice, ate dinner at church and went to class, and came home! All 3 kiddos are now in bed and sleeping peacefully. I have managed to reorganize and pick up the entire downstairs so all I need to do tomorrow is vaccuum and dust.
Tomorrow we're having a catch up day. We're hanging around the house taking care of the things I've let go for the past 2 weeks while everyone was here. Wish us luck!
