Happy Friday the 13th everyone! Today marks exactly 4 months since we said goodbye to Abrahm on a cold (very cold) winter night. One third of the way done. Yea!!!!! That sounds so good. Eight more months to go doesn't sound so good, so we won't look at it that way :)
We had a boring day here. Well I guess not so boring for Adam. It was his favorite day of the week. Garbage Day!!! It should not surprise me when he turns out to be a garbage collector one day. I let him have a special treat today. We actually went outside and waited for him to come (You can bet I never thought I'd be getting excited about sitting outside waiting for the garbage man). Adam was so excited. He kept saying "help garbage man" and "garbage truck in street". "Adam help." I know the garbage man must think I am nuts taking pictures of trash day. Maybe it made them feel like celebrities :)
Alden had a big night. He had rice cereal. He's had it a couple of times before, but tonight I actually put him in the high chair. He really enjoyed it tonight. He ate a lot! He was very messy at the beginning, but by the end he was starting to get the hang of it. Another milestone!
Another big event happened today. I sucked it up and moved Alden into Adam's room. I figured if I wait for Alden to sleep all night he may never move into the room, so I said it's now or never. Of course he did pick tonight to cry and fuss and have a hard time settling down. Adam seems to have slept through it. Both boys currently are sleeping (I think) so that's one hurdle down. Pray the night goes smoothly. If not reinforcments are coming tomorrow!! My mom and dad are coming tomorrow night for two weeks.
One last little bit of info. I want to send out our congratulations to the Gross Family. Mike and Janel are now the proud parents of beautiful Aislyn Grace born early yesterday morning. All seem to be doing well. We're excited to meet her when we come home in July!!!!
