This was is it. The last day of this adventure. We had a 7 hour drive to make. We had a quick breakfast with the Marshalls, thanked them for everything they did, and hit the road. Thankfully everything went very well and we arrived home by 6:00 pm. It was truly a once in a lifetime trip! We had an amazing time and saw so many wonderful things. Just spending 30 days together as a family was probably the best part. Since Abrahm has been gone so much, I am truly blessed when we get to spend time together as a family. I can't wait to start planning our next adventure!!!!

Sounds like a great trip! I'm tired reading about it but glad you all had a wonderful time! Can't wait to hear about the next adventures . . . when do you PCS? Trying to stay in Europe?
Heidi - It was fantastic. I was actually surprised how well the kiddos did. We are supposed to PCS next summer. Abrahm was picked up for LTC, so we are waiting for a bunch of boards to meet to decide our fate. We will probably go CONUS, but with the Army, who knows?? We are definitely enjoying our time over here.
I am planning our last final hurrah now. We're going to hopefully take a safari in South Africa in the late winter or early Spring. I am beyond excited about it!
Looks like you had a good summer as well. I hope the start of school goes smoothly for you guys! Take care!
