Beersel Castle in Belgium

This weekend we took our first road trip. We headed to a castle in Beersel, Belgium. It is the only one of it's kind here in Belgium. It was built in the early 1300s. It was absolutely amazing! The kids loved it. We all got a good workout that day climbing up and down all of those spiral staircases. The only drawback is that is wasn't what you call "child proof". We got stressed with Adalee a couple of times, but overall everyone did really well. Thanks Alicia for mentioning it to us!

(I won't say that Abrahm especially loved the castle because about 1 km up (very, very, uphill) from the castle was a special Brewery. The lady at the brewery said several beer companies from the US come there to learn from them).
