Alden's 9th Birthday!

On the 17th, Alden turned 9. Since it was a half day at school, we decided to have his party right after school got out that morning. We had a fun day celebrating. Can't believe he is 9!

Skating on the Rideau Canal in Ottawa

We went with some hockey friends to Ottawa.  We took the kids to Sky Jump and then ice skating on the Rideau Canal.  The canal freezes over and becomes one huge ice rink!  The kids ended up skating over 6 Km and having a blast.  To warm everyone up we stopped for hot chocolate and beaver tails!  Yummy.

Sometimes Dreams do Come True!

Saturday night, Adalee was able to skate out "her girls" at the Clarkson Women's Hockey Game. A special thank you to the coaches and players for making it such a magical experience for her! She was so excited to be in the starting line up with Jamie Lee Rattray and some of her other favorites. As soon as she got off the ice, she was ready to get back on. She is already trying to figure out how to do it again! Thanks for creating a monster Coach Shannon!  (Sorry the photos are so terrible. They turn the lights off at the beginning)

Adam's Team wins their First Tournament!

Adam's Squirt Team only played one tournament this year.  They went down to Clayton, NY for the Shiver on the River Tourney.  They played hard and ended up winning the whole thing!  They were so excited to get their trophy and banner back to the rink in Potsdam.  Great job Adam!

Uncle Kirk's Wedding

September 14, Uncle Kirk and Aunt Barb got married at Gray's Run.  It was such a beautiful and fun wedding!  The kids enjoyed hanging out at Gray's and the wedding was amazing!  Congratulations Uncle Kirk and Aunt Barb!  The kids say they are waiting for cousins!!
