Lawrence Avenue Elementary Olympics!

Every 4 years our elementary school hosts the Olympic games. Today they had their opening ceremonies. It was a wonderfully organized parade and ceremony at the high school football field. The kids loved it! Adam marched the American flag in the parade, Alden held the sign representing his class's country of Ireland, and Adalee held her class's banner for the Ukraine. A fun time was had by all!

Alden's Artist Birthday Party

Yesterday we had Alden's 8th Birthday Party.  We had a great time!  We painted, make sticker mosaics, sculpted things out of clay and at lots of yummy food.  Overall the kiddos were so well behaved and listened to directions really well.   Our house wasn't covered with paint or anything afterwards :-)  Alden deemed it the best birthday ever!  Can't go wrong with that!  Happy Birthday Alden!  I can't believe you are 8!!!
