Today we had a fun time celebrating St Patrick's Day. I found some fun ideas on Pinterest and then tweaked them to work for us. Since the kiddos get up quite early, I had a special treat waiting in the fridge for them to snack on until we had breakfast. They loved the green fruit skewers and lucky charms. For breakfast we made special sausage corndogs I saw on The Pioneer Woman's TV show on food network. They were fantastic. I made 16 and we had NO leftovers! For an afternoon snack I made special green milkshakes and cookies. Then I made Shepherd's Pie for dinner with a fruit rainbow and rainbow cupcakes. A fun day was had by all!

When we got back from Paris, the kiddos had arranged a special surprise party for Grandma Jean. We had her favorite soup, a yummy cake, and presents of course!

For my Mom's 76th Birthday, I planned a little overnight getaway to Paris for just the two of us. We dropped the kids at school and then took the train to Paris. I took her on a bus tour through Paris so she could pretty much see everything. Our first stop was the Louvre. We ate lunch there and spent a few hours walking around. Then we took the bus over to Notre Dame. After that we headed to our hotel to get ready for dinner. I took her to the Eiffel Tower restaurant for a special celebration. It was so much fun!
The next day we went to the Orangerie Museum and then walked to the Place de la Concorde and then on up the Champs Elyssees before catching our ride back to the train station. We had a great time!
