Valentines Day Celebrations!

For Valentine's Day we just had a quiet celebration at home. The kiddos had school, so I decorated the night before. Then we got up the next morning and had a yummy Valentines Breakfast. I sent the kiddos off to school, and got things ready for dinner. We had a yummy Beef Brisket, twice baked potatoes, asparagus, chocolate covered strawberries, cookies and cream brulee! What a fun Valentines Day!

I'm Back!

After a little break to have some much needed family time, I am finally taking time to update the blog. I think I am finally caught up on all of our happenings. To see all the pictures, make sure you click "Older Posts" at the bottom of the page. I hope you enjoy! It may be a bit before I update again, since Abrahm and I are getting away for a few days by ourselves (thanks to Grammy Gay and PopPop) and then we are heading to the French Riviera for our Winter Holiday!

Happy 6th Birthday Alden!

Alden's birthday was January 17 (see a post about it below). We celebrated it with just family because Alden wanted to wait until his Daddy came home to have his real party. I was thankful for this since that meant I would have some help! :)

So yesterday we had 17 kiddos here to celebrate a dinosaur adventure! For that many kiddos, things went really well. We did some crafts, became dinosaurs that hunted for dinosaur eggs, had a pinata, ate some pasta for lunch, had some cake and opened presents! A fun filled day.

Music Concert

On Saturday the school the children go to had an Open House. The kiddos took turns showing off the special programs that the school offers. Our boys had to sing with their classes. It is fun seeing them sing all the French songs.

Random Happenings

Our first trip to the market after Abrahm returned, we bought fresh peas to shell. The kids had a great time shelling them and then eating them for dinner!

Adam was a hard worker! Good job guys!

The day after we celebrated Christmas I let the kiddos eat the Gingerbread house. They had a great time devouring the house and trees they made.

Christmas Day - Take 2

Since Abrahm missed Christmas while he was in Afghanistan, we decided to do our family celebration when he got back home. On the Saturday after he returned, we got up early and put on our Christmas jammies and had a fun filled Christmas day (in February!).

We started off with our traditional Sticky Bun breakfast. Then we opened our presents and stockings. Daddy had the most presents to open since he missed Christmas the first time around. We all had fun helping Daddy. Santa even came back and left a few treats in all of our stockings too!

We spent the afternoon playing with our toys and hanging out as a family. We had a huge, traditional Christmas dinner and ended the day playing games. Even though we were a month and a half late, it was a pretty special "Christmas" Day!
