While our guide was speaking to the children this gentlemen and his escort came up to the group. He was one of the first men on Omaha Beach on D-Day. It was pretty amazing to be in his presence. He wanted to speak to the children and have his picture made with them. What a special experience for them.

She was so great with the children. She let them explore and explained to them what they were seeing. She "introduced" them to some of the amazing men and women who are buried there.
