Flower Carnival Parade
On Wedensday we headed back down to Old Nice. We first went to a perfume museum and store. We saw some of the history of perfume as well as sampled some wonderful scents. After that we wandered down the streets a bit and grabbed some lunch. After eating I changed the kiddos into their costumes and we walked to our stands to view the parade. Unlike Sunday, the weather was nice. We enjoyed seeing all of the flower floats. The girls on the floats threw flowers to the crowd. Our kiddos were quite pleased with their flowers as you can see from the pictures. It was a really fun day!

Adam feeding the birds on our way to the parade. The bird ate the bread right out of his hand.

I loved these turtle guys. Their backpack shells were filled with streamers and they just blasted the crowd with pink and purple confetti! They were great!

This guy was a little odd. He was playing with fire the whole time.

Tons and tons of confetti!

These guys were great with the flags

I love this picture of Grammy with the confetti all over her!

Antibes
On our last day we took the train over to Antibes. Antibes is west of Nice. Once we arrived we wandered down by the harbor and ended up strolling through the old town. We spent a lot of time on the beach and also spent some time looking at some of the street markets. They say that Antibes is the biggest and best pleasure boat harbor. It has 1600 stalls for boats and yachts. Judging from what we saw, I don't think I can dispute that statement. There were tons of boats!

Some of the smaller boats at the entrance of the harbor.
