What's New in Alaska

I haven't posted much lately, but we've been quite busy here. Let me catch you up.
  • Adam is potty trained (I think). Last week we put underwear on him and after 1 day of "practicing" he hasn't had any accidents. He tells us when he needs to go, even when exciting things are happening. For example, he stopped in the middle of swimming the other evening to go "poop". I think Grammy Gay's M & M dispenser must have been the key. He is doing great!!! Today and yesterday he just started going to his potty all by himself without saying anything to me. I can't believe what a fantastic job he's done.
  • Alden gave up the bottle. He only drinks out of his cups and his sippy cups with straws. He looks like such a big boy holding his cup and drinking like a big boy.
  • Alden is walking more now. He will now walk between things. He takes 5 or 6 steps at a time now. If he can get there more quickly by crawling he'll drop to his knees and crawl speedy quick across the room.
  • We're still in the "great waiting mode". We're waiting to see if we're going to be staying in Alaska or heading to Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. We're hoping to know before much longer.

Well I think that's about it for now. Just wanted to let you know the exciting things happening in Alaska.
