Adalee at Vanderbilt

Adalee finally woke up and is sitting beside me eating some ice cream. All is well. Thanks so much for the prayers and emails today.

Adalee is out of her procedure now. The doctor said everything looks good, but she wouldn't have any definitive diagnosis until all the biopsies came back. Hopefully I will get to see Adalee soon.
They have taken her back to start the procedure. She is doing really well. She is charming everyone. She has sung Fuzzy Caterpillar for about 5 different groups of people now. I will update once I speak to the doctor again.
At the hospital now. Just spoke with the Anesthesiologist. He is getting her Vercet now. All is going well. Will update soon.
Please say a prayer for Adalee today. We are heading to Vanderbilt so she can have her Endoscopy done today. I will update as we know something.

Moving Day(s)

This whole week we have had movers at our house. They have packed up our household goods for the past 3 days and on Thursday they come to pick up our stuff that will be going into storage and then on Friday they will be picking up our Unaccompanied Baggage for France. We have also had 3 house showings, a windshield replacement, an air conditioner repairman, and tomorrow I am taking Adalee to Vandy for her GI appointment. So other than that, things are pretty quiet around here :)

This will probably be the last time I post until we leave here next week. We then head to Alabama, the beach, Pennsylvania, and New York City before we fly to France in mid July. To follow our journey to France you can click here. I will also have a link on the right labeled PCS to France. Please keep us in your prayers over the next month. We can surely use them.

Our Weekend in Chattanooga

**Updated** I finally posted the last picture! As you can see we had a great time. For those of you that have emailed, Alden is doing much better. Today is the first day he hasn't had any medicine and is eating like he usually does. Thanks for the prayers and concern.

This past weekend we headed to Chattanooga with some friends for one last hurrah! We had a great time (all except when I got a small tummy bug). The kids loved being at the Chattanooga Choo Choo with their friends. We had the perfect set up. We slept in the train cars on the very front and had our own "lounge" area outside. We were able to sit out there after the kids went to bed at night. (Don't worry, the door to the train car was about 10 feet in front of us, so we were being safe). We had many adventures. I will be posting pictures all day today. It will probably take me until late this evening to finish posting the pictures, so check back often! I hope you enjoy seeing our adventure!

Welcome to the Chattanooga Choo Choo

The afternoon that we arrived we spent walking around and enjoying the gardens and trains. The roses were absolutely beautiful! They had so many varieties. I took lots of pictures and will post some later. We saw fish and frogs and went through garden mazes. It is such a beautiful place. We really had a great trip!

I think we spent half of the weekend chasing and catching frogs. Alden had a special talent of catching them. Adalee just loved saying "Baby Frog, Hop, Hop, Hop"

Adam enjoyed the water.
He swam the length of the pool all by himself a few times this weekend. He is becoming quite a little swimmer!

Train Museum and Ride

The first thing we did on Saturday morning was go to the Train Museum and go for a train ride. It was a lot of fun. We were in the back train on the ride down and could go out the back and watch the engineer change the track and the signs. When we got to the halfway point, we exited the train. We then watched it get onto a turn table and change directions. Then we watched it hook back up to the train. The kids really enjoyed their ride.
