Friends and Family,
Sorry it's taken so long to post. Things here have been hectic, and truthfully we haven't done much exciting lately. I'll start off with some updates.
The boys are doing well. Adam is still loving school. He is also enjoying the warmer weather. He and Alden spend as much time outside as they can. He is learning things so quickly. It's amazing how much his little brain can soak up in such a short amount of time. He is very excited about his baby sister. He comes up and gives her hugs and kisses a lot. He loves to feel her kick him. He keeps telling me she moves around so much because she is ready to come out and play with her big brothers. So cute.
Alden is doing well. He has just outgrown everything in his closet. I think he grew 2 or 3 inches this month!! All his pants are too short now. Thank goodness for shorts! He is really starting to talk more. He is finally putting two syllables together now and is really asking for what he wants. He is still a little behind in his talking, but you would be too if you had someone who talked and did everything for you :) He loves puzzles and can do ones Adam was doing when he was three. He has no idea a baby is coming. I am afraid this is going to be quite the transition for him. I am sure after the first few weeks he'll get used to her (I hope!).
As for Abrahm, he is still busy with Army and Grad school. He will finish Grad school the middle of May with his MBA. I am really proud of him. It's been a lot of work, but for him to accomplish this in 1 year is great! As for the Army school, it is keeping him quite busy. We keep thinking things should slow down, but there just doesn't seem to be an end in sight. He'll graduate from it the middle of June.
We are still waiting for orders to Ft. Campbell. Maybe eventually they'll come. We have been waiting for the last 3 months!! The boys and I took a trip to Clarksville (Ft. Campbell) at the beginning of the month. My parents met us there to help out with the kids while I looked at houses and schools. It was a nice trip. We even got to visit with some old friends. (Thanks Mark and Kelly for all the help). We're really excited to move there again. For those of you that don't remember, that is where Abrahm and I got married almost 8 years ago!!
So for the real reason most people want me to update.... Baby Girl DiMarco (yes, it's still a girl!) is doing very well. She is killing her mommy, but she is a very healthy and VERY active little girl. We had an ultrasound yesterday to check her size and the doc said everything looks perfect. We were able to see her open and close her mouth and even watch her practice breathing. It was amazing to see her chest rise up and down getting ready for her big arrival. They estimate her weight right now (36 weeks) at between 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 pounds. She seems to be pretty big already. She is also giving me lots of pain in my hips. I am having a very difficult time sleeping and walking these days. Because of the pain the doctor has scheduled an induction for April 14. So unless she decides to make her grand entrance sooner, It looks like she'll arrive just before Tax day!
I'll try to be better about updating in the next few weeks. I am just pretty tired (that whole lack of sleep thing is starting to get to me) and lack motivation. We'll keep you posted!
