New Website Added

Hello All,

I added a new blog site at the right of the screen titled "My Pictures of Alaska". It's just pictures I've taken around town to show the beauty of Alaska, and more importantly, a place to showcase the pictures I've taken with my new camera Abrahm gave me for Christmas. Just click on the link and you can see the photos I've added. There won't be any pictures of the boys there, just Alaska stuff, just in case anyone cares :)

A trip to the doctor

On Friday we took Alden to the doctor for his 1 year checkup. He weighed 24 3/4 pounds and was 31 1/2 inches long!!! The doc says he's a big boy, but perfectly on track where he needs to be. We did get a referral to a cardiologist to check out his heart murmur, but the doctor feels everything will look just fine with further testing. Just one of those precautionary measures. Otherwise he's healthy and developing just right!!!

He can now do 3 different signs and says "mama" and "dada" when he wants to. He can walk, but chooses not to most of the time. He still crawls very quickly everywhere. He can dance and play pat-a-cake. He likes to wrestle with Adam and Daddy. He likes to practice putting things in and out of containers and he even can do some of the motions to "If you're happy and you know it" when you sing to him. He is off of formula and by the end of the week he'll have his last bottle (neither of which he's complained about).

I can't believe he's a year already. He has been such a joy to our family. I am so glad Abrahm is home to watch all of the wonderful things he's doing.

A new snow and my new camera

For the past couple of days we've had lots more snow. This morning I noticed how beautiful it all looked again, so I decided to take some pictures. I played with the different settings and love the pictures it took. What a great husband to get me such a wonderful Christmas gift!!!!
